Chalfont St. Giles Memorial Hall
School Lane, Chalfont St Giles HP8 4JJ

Map

The Memorial Hall, completed in 1923, was built to commemorate servicemen from the village killed in the Great War and it continues to be used for a wide variety of village activities. The new Millennium Entrance, opened in July 1999, greatly improved the Hall by adding modern toilet facilities, as well as providing a very welcoming entrance foyer. The Hall has its own car park and it is an ideal venue for meetings and village activities.

Facilities

The Hall can hold up to 200 people; seating is provided for up to 150. The main hall measures 13 metres by 9 metres approximately. All events must finish by 11 pm.

There is a large kitchen with facilities for the provision of meals. The Hall may be hired for commercial and for private events. Hourly rates are dependant on the type of hire and range from £31.50 down to £14. See the Bookings page.

Private functions - There is limited availability for bookings for private functions for local residents (living in the HP8 postcode area). No parties for 12 to 21 year olds.
